When I took my car to Dean’s for the first time in about five years recently, I was initially a little worried because it looked like it had changed ownership. But I found that the qualities of honesty and competence were still there with the new personnel. I brought the car in for a Check Engine light that pointed to an intake manifold problem. In the course of sourcing the needed part, Peter discovered that the work would be covered under Hyundai’s warranty if I took the car to a local dealership, and steered me in that direction. He could have simply kept that to himself and done the repair, making several hundred dollars, and I would have been none the wiser. You don’t find that kind of honesty and fair play everywhere in the car repair business! I would certainly use Dean’s again.
